Thursday Evening up date.

The final event for inter schools on the Nordic trails was the junior Biathlon. It just proves a positive attitude can be a winner. The morning began with rain and thick fog but the competitors arrived in big numbers and were lucky enough to ski and shoot before the rain started again.

We have now had over 15 mm of rain and grooming will cease until further notice.

One major event scheduled for the weekend was the National XC ski Championships which has been cancelled. Very disappointing for athletes from NSW, ACT and Victoria who were looking forward to competing and using their results to assist in their selection into the national senior and junior teams.

The Nordic shelter will remain open and will still be warm and welcoming to anyone who wants to come in just to be social or still enjoy a slide and glide on the remaining sections of snow.
