The Nordic trails will close at 1230PM on Wed 3/4 and Thurs 3/5 due to warm afternoon temperatures.
Eldora Nordic remains open exclusively for holders of Nordic Season Passes and 3 packs.
There is no snowshoeing available at this time.
Good Morning Nordic Skiers!
It snowed! There was a light dusting of snow overnight, with more on the way today and later this week. This was a much needed refresh for our trails, and we're hopeful the trend will continue this weekend. The trails are still in melt/freeze conditions with light snow on top. Wednesday and Thursday are forecasted to have high temperatures in the afternoon, so we will proactively close the trails at 12:30 on these days.
Early Closure Notice!
Monday, March 2nd the Nordic trails will close at 1230PM due to warm afternoon temperatures.
Moving forward this season we will be closing the Nordic trails when temperatures are projected to reach 40 degrees or above. We use the Opensnow platform, which you can follow for free at this link - Eldora Weather
We are taking this measure to keep the trails in the best possible conditions through the rest of the season.

Exciting news for Eldora Weekday Plus Pass holders!
Starting tomorrow, Sunday, March 1, and continuing through the remainder of the Nordic season, your Weekday Plus Pass will be valid for weekend Nordic skiing.
We appreciate the role you play in the Eldora Nordic ski community and are glad to offer this added access as we head into the final stretch of the season.
