Ski Trail Update
Smeltzer Loop and the Driving Range portion of the Leading Edge Loop were groomed today for the final time this season. All other trails are now closed due to debris from last weekend’s windstorm and deteriorating conditions resulting from the recent warm weather.
Signage has been placed at various access points throughout the trail system indicating these closures. The affected sections are currently in very poor condition, with icy areas and significant debris present. Access or use of these sections is not recommended, and anyone choosing to do so does so at their own risk.
Additionally, access through the tree line between Hole 2 and Hole 3 is currently blocked due to a fallen tree (see attached image).
We kindly ask that all users refrain from accessing or using any closed sections of the trail system.
This will likely be our final weekend of cross-country ski trail use as we move closer to mid-March and begin shifting our operational focus toward preparations for the upcoming golf season.
We hope you enjoyed the ski season. Although this winter presented its share of challenges, we truly appreciated the opportunity to provide this service to the community.
