It is a beautiful and warm day with fresh grooming on our machine made snow loops. Those trails are in excellent condition. There is a fair bit of fallen debris from trees on the narrow natural snow trails and classic skiing is not recommended in the tracks on those trails. Hopefully we get new snow in the next couple of days.
Snowmaking operations on going on Becky Scott Hill and upper Centennial/Olympic.
It has been a long time since we have seen fresh snow in Canmore. As a result, we are into a snow management regime where we have to be careful about how much we groom our natural snow trails. We still managed a fair bit in the last couple of days, but in some cases, we are leaving the classic tracks untouched where they are holding up well.
Snowmaking and grooming are continuing on the upper cross country competition trails. Use caution when travelling through this area, especially when coming down from Meadowview towards the stadium.
