Howelsen Hill Nordic Update 2/17/2026
Good morning Nordic Skiers,
The Rodeo Loop and Hakan Spar received some fresh corduroy this morning. Very blustery morning already with no accumulation from the incoming storm system but a few flakes falling from the sky. Winter weather snow squall warnings are in effect and it would be advised to limit travel (and Nordic skiing) for the duration of this weather event. If you choose to brave the storm please use an abundance of caution out on the trails.
While the weather is not looking pleasant at the moment, fingers crossed 🤞 that we have several inches of fresh new snow to make the trails and slopes happy again by the end of the workweek!
