Tonight was a good groom. All things considered these trails are in excellent shape. Eric and Adam did a great job this week referbing and flattening these trails after having two solid days of rain and the ensuing muck fest we endured for days afterwards. Colder overnight temperatures are definitely helping. Eric and I put in the Cork Screw tonight. I’m referring to the section beyond Overlook. I’m gonna ask that you resist the temptation to go all gonzo on it and blast down those turns. Many of turns are rough, rough enough to crash you at high speeds. Over the next few grooms, we should have it smoothed out to where you can go nuts on it. So everything on the upper mountain is groomed and tracked along with the Meadow Connector and Lower Return. The tracks aren’t molded as crisply as we would like, but they’re gonna ski fine. Toward the end of the weekend we'll assess the Tyrolean loops and determine if the are safe to groom or if they require more snow. Stay tuned on that. We have a light breeze, 22°, and flurries right now. Hope you get out and enjoy some freaking good skiing tomorrow. I can’t wait to go skiing again.
