A light dusting of snow gave Mt. Van Hoevenberg a welcome winter glow this morning, and the competition trails are getting a refresh this morning to keep conditions excellent for the final stretch of the season. Open skiing continues on these trails till Sunday while all Legacy trails remained closed. With only three days left before we wrap up for the year, it's a perfect moment to get in a few more laps and enjoy the late-season atmosphere.
Tomorrow evening brings our last Full Moon Party- a festive sendoff featuring a fun loop of skiing, music, drinks and a lively vibe under the night sky. It's a great way to celebrate the end of another memorable season.
Last Fun Fact Friday: Lake Placid is one of only two places in the world to host the Winter Olympics twice, and its Nordic venues- including Mt. Van Hoevenberg- rain some of the most storied cross-country ski trails in North America.
