Skiing, bratwurst, sauerkraut, and beer...what more do you need? We are still buzzing over a great Passholder Party yesterday and so glad to see so many skiers back for another season, whether it's their 52nd or 2nd season. We are also thrilled to be welcoming many new season passholders this year. We loved seeing lots of gear donated for the Stowe schools winter programs and Birdie Blue. Thank you for celebrating with us!

It's going to be another great day up on the hill with a dusting of new snow overnight, cool temps, little to no wind, and a gorgeous pink sky to start the day. While we love bluebird days we are looking forward to clouds rolling in and delivering a few more inches today and tonight. Groomers are out now resetting tracks and setting the table for the day. The team had the PistenBully out to smooth out all the snow we made recently and re-open the Sugar Road entrance. The PB also did Fox Track, but it was clear we need some more snow to do full PB grooming with some dirt coming up on Fox Track turns. Descriptions ranged from 'unbelievable' to 'just perfect' yesterday with skaters probably the happiest and classic skiers almost as satisfied. The tracks are not as crisp and sharp as they will be once the PB is out daily, but it's pretty darn nice out there right now and the reactions from all at the party don't lie. There's some wavy spots with waterbars not fully filled in at the bottom of Parizo Down so ski that with caution. As always, check out the map and trail list for real-time trail open/closed/groomed status.
