Fun skiing to be had today with most areas we groomed last night turning out very nice.  Another great day to ski! Warm daytime temps and below-freezing overnight lows make for some tricky grooming conditions with the thin snowpacl, but should be a fun, fast ski this morning. As things heat up throughout the morning and early afternoon conditions will soften considerably.

Winthrop trails were groomed but are thin and the Barnsley Lake and Bitterbrush trails have increasing exposed dirt patches. Trail access is best from the Fish Hatchery and walking the first 100 meters rather than the Spring Creek Ranch trailhead at the rink. In Mazama, the meadow loops at the trailhead are recommended although Flagg Mountain loop is getting thin and doesn't have the depth for classic tracks. Jacks and Upper River Run are in good shape and recommended, though the approach can be tricky with some exposed dirt in the trees, and the MCT from Mazama to the Freestone is very thin with a lot of dirt.
