wowsers!! Huge day, 6 1/2 hours put in by master groomer Ken!! Soo much snow recently and the cold temperatures led to snail pace grooming. If you don't pack and get the air out of the snow it becomes somewhat like spreading peanut butter on top of jelly....

All of the Saskaloppet Trail has been packed and classic tracks set everywhere besides the Hornet Bay Loop. Still sections of willows and hidden rocks to watch for, particularly on the east section of Hornet Bay.

All ski trails renovated. Drifting overcome again by trail crews after two days (40 grooming hours). Volunteers no longer required to help shovel drifts. Conditions now excellent.

All trails have been groomed and trackset. 

All trails besides warm up loops have been groomed for skate and classic, with exception of the summit loop for skate only.

All loops groomed except Black (too much snow!).  X-country tracks also set on all trails that were groomed. Exceptional cold wax conditions !!!

Lots of new snow this week.  Parking lots were cleared this morning.  Groomed all but the following today: Beaverlodge parts of Eb's Trail Sask60 between Jorgen's and Porcupine

Ed's inn. Skied the trail very good considering the wind. Just blown over in a few areas.

Trails were rolled and groomed today, in great condition with a great base . Not too icy even with the warm weather we're having .  Enjoy!

Classic tracks and skate lane all groomed up again. Few spots might be a tad soft on account of the blowing snow these past few days, but both skate and classic are in good condition.

I just finished grooming all 3 Nordic trails. For classic and skate. Ready by 2 PM for hard core skiers.
