Saturday 6-Dec'25.

Fresh dampish 6cm snow between 6:00 - 10:00 this AM. It is snowball making consistency, so if you are trying to figure out which wax to use, best of luck. Not blue or green, that's fer sure.

A few more trails were rolled yesterday, so anything that shows as rolled, should have a thin base below the 6 cm and be acceptable for non-fussy skiers that are just happy to get their rock skis on, and get at it. You will get a workout.

The temps this morning are just a little too warm for any snow pushing or additional trail rolling, but when they drop and stay dropped, we'll get at it. Maybe tonite, more likely early Sunday morning.

.

GROOMERS CHOICE: If pressed, we would probably say dog trails. There was a lot of snowmobile traffic on the regular dog trails yesterday (distributing dog poop posts), so the trails got an extra packing before the fresh 6 cm. And  dog pause always do a fine job of getting these trails ready for the season.

Speaking of dogs, The Barking Lot is open which means dogs and owners are welcome to ski the dog trails. (Read between those lines :)

The new 2025 dog trails are pretty rough, and haven't been properly packed, so unless you are looking for your next great rock-ski snow-snake adventure, maybe give them a pass.

NOTE: The detailed Trail Report below says "Last Groomed". A more accurate representation would be "Last Rolled". Take care.

Its Elfie-fying!

(With appropriate credit to Olivia Newton-John)

Elfie has been observed scouting a route for Santa to ski from the lodge to the stadium. You might catch a glimpse of him west of the stadium on the route to the S'more's firepit.

Kick off the holiday season with one of our favourite traditions! The Santa Ski at CNSC!  Admission is by donation to the Food Bank, helping support families in our community during the holiday season.  Warm up by the bonfire with s’mores and hot chocolate.
.
Letters to Santa: Kids are encouraged to bring their letters for our giant North Pole mailbox (see photo) — or they can write one onsite at our Letter Writing Station inside the lodge. Santa is multiligual, so if your child's mother tongue is something other than english, esto hospes noster!  Kids’ Craft: We’ll also have a fun new addition this year — a DIY ornament craft for kids to make and take home. Get ready to bundle up,  & join us for a fun, festive winter afternoon you won’t want to miss!
