Sunday December 7: 6-8 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours!!!  It is starting to look like winter there.  We are grooming the Aspen Golf Course loop 10, Marolt loop 40 and Aspen High School Trails loop 30 this morning.  Last night we groomed the Rio Grande Trail from Stein Park to the Aspen Post Office and track packed the Rio to Jaffee Park.  We are still working on packing down all other trails and expect to have more trails open soon with this storm. Snow pack is still too shallow to set classic tracks. Check Nordic Pulse for updated grooming info. Early season variable conditions should be expected - ski with caution. The Nordic Center is open from 9-5.
