We are getting started with a cold morning that will quickly warm up and top out over 30F. Tracks are set on open trails, the snow firmed up overnight and will get softer through the day, and it's going to be a big Saturday on the trails and in the Outdoor Center. Check the trail list and map here for the latest, but Hissy Fit, Slayton Pasture Trail, Chris's Run, Parizo Up and Down, Yerrick's Yodel, Telemark, the race loops, and more are open and skiing great.
This might be the first big weekend so couple parking reminders:
*Park snug. Pretend you are at the grocery store and there are nice tight lines. We can get >20% more cars in the lot if people park smart.
*Use the overflow lot just south on Trapp Hill Rd on the left, if the main lot is getting full. There will be snow rows here and same thing there, please park like you were at a striped lot.
*For the love of Ullr, don't park people in. We will scold you and you will forever be known by our team as Triple Park Mark (if your name happens to be Mark).

If you have a season pass, you are invited to the Passholder Party today. Complimentary food and beer will be served in the Outdoor Center from 11AM - 3PM to those who can show their pass and we will toast the season every hour on the half hour. We will also be celebrating with 20% off all full-price retail purchases (minus syrup and wine) all day and are pleased to offer passholders 10% off one private ski lesson or 20% off a 3-pack of private ski lessons (pre-pay on party day and you can schedule the lesson(s) later).

Tips to party like a pro:
*There are a lot of you and not a lot of square feet in our humble Outdoor Center. It gets packed around noon (go figure) so aim for early or late to get a seat.
*If it's a packed house upstairs, find a quiet spot in the lower level or head out to the cozy yurt. We don't want to host the kind of party where everybody crams into the kitchen.
*We know skiers have hearty appetites, but please wait until after 2PM to come through for seconds so we can feed the masses. Plenty of time to go ski a few laps and burn off your first plate!

New this year: we will be collecting clean donated jackets for the ski programs at the Stowe Public Schools. We are also collecting donated gear for Morrisville company Birdie Blue and will give the items the schools can't make use of to Birdie Blue. From local skier and BirdieBlue founder Kate Harvey: Give Your Gear New Life with BirdieBlue. Turn your retired ski & snowboard gear into bold, functional bags, handmade by women in Vermont. Every donation to BirdieBlue keeps textiles out of landfills and creates jobs for women in our communities. BirdieBlue accepts ski & snowboard jackets, pants, bibs, tents, puffer jackets, and technical/waterproof outerwear. All donated gear can be dropped off in the Yurt.
