 Smoothed it out. However, this is the worst frost heaving I think I've seen since I started here in 07. Luge and devils corner are heaved out of shape really badly making them pretty darn sporty. Decent coverage.

Still a bit of ice heaves with plenty of little humps here and there. Rock skis are suggested. Three passes on all. 

Saturday morning 14F. There is no snow forecast for next week and we can expect single digit temperatures. We will do our best to keep the thin surfaces skiable. Challenging times.

Refreshed the Lighted trails, Elliot's and the multi-use. Today is the Super Tour classic sprint race. Please be mindful of the race course using the stadium and snowmaking loop. Enjoy the trails!

Made three passes over the light and fluffy snow. Of course the base is icy, but was able to cut it a bit. Probably decent skiing but watch for slippery spots. Have a great weekend!

A few inches of very light new snow. There is still an ice layer underneath but hopefully some bonding will take place. Made four passes with the snowmachine and compaction wing. Enjoy! 

Winter is back. Trails groomed up pretty good and should hold with the colder temperatures. Skating is fast as is double poling in the tracks.  Get out and enjoy the sunny days or under the big moon. I hope everyone has snow on their Christmas list. 

Groomed for skate and classic from the gate to the bridge. Support Grooming by the Mat-Su Ski Club.

The first 1.5 loops were freshly trackset on 11/25. It's shallow in spots hut skiing pretty well overall. Happy thanksgiving! 

Groomed upper 5k and Austrian Ave with steel drag. Trail is flat with some nice sections but lots of grass, roots, dirt showing through so be careful, especially on hills. Still excavation going on at dog parking lot. 

1-2 inches of new snow at Glen Alps. DNR snowmachine groomed the trail from Glen Alps Trailhead to Ptarmigan Pass intersection which is now in much better shape with only a couple of rocks poking through.

Slikok is groomed the best it can be with the big frost heaves. Need lot more snow to get it in better shape. 

Packed snow, still very thin.  You will hit rocks and ground often.  Be careful on the downhills.

Tsalteshi single track has setup 👌. Give it a try. Slikok is needing more snow, but rideable.
