One classic track set on best line. Too bumpy to skate. It is rough at the start and then there is a patch of dirt to walk over at the shooting range. Should be better after that.

Hello skiers. I don't know if any of you are still checking the reports but we did do a bonus groom on old highway. No tracks but it's actually in fairly decent shape. If you get a notion to go skiing, Old Highwy is your option!!

Good Morning! Our final grooming has taken place with marginal conditions to be expected. Fat bike conditions will also be marginal with ice and muddy sections. Be sure to take care when you're out there!

Today at 4PM, the Eldora Nordic Center is closing for the season.  Thanks for a great Nordic season.  The Nordic trail system is closed to the public until next fall. I hope to see you then!

4/20/25Today is the last day of winter operations with groomed trails, tubing hills, and Reba's Meadow Cafe. Thanks for all the support and encouragement; we genuinely enjoy our job. Cheers!

18 degrees spring conditions with numerous bere spots on the trails. Ski with caution 

5k loop west of upper/lower split is ok. Getting to Wolf meadow is difficult.  There is water across west side of Wolf Meadow.

May 4th:  Grooming concluded for the season at Mt Shark on April 18th.  Trails are now a mix of snow covered, ice and expanding bare ground.

6" heavy wet snow.  Attempted to groom non motorized section.  Able to set one set of classic tracks and a skate lane over most of the return trip back.  Snow was isothermal in spots.

Skier reported at 11:20am that crust skiing is fantastic.

Last night it only partially refroze and lots of debris came down. This morning did a few passes with roller on 1k+4k to smooth out some ruts and postholes. Unless we get some hard freezes so we can work it more, expect a punchy lumpy trail in the days ahead.

With a bit of new snow the last few days we have an A+ skiing surface for classic and skate on a 3km loop.  Open for season passholders 8:30am-1pm daily until end of season. 

Alas, we know the party's over when things are getting packed up & hauled off the hill... Sure was a good one, though! See you back on the trails in the fall when the temps drop and the snow flies once more...
